Get real ... NOTHING here indicates "Shuttle (America???)" will operate this service. If customer survey data were to determine this, it would not be "Shuttle America."

As a current DAL Diamond, I hope it is not operated by the IDIOTS in IND.

That doesn't mean anything, it's not a Shuttle America route, it's a Delta route. Mesaba is in SLC, Compass in ATL, Comair in DTW, Skywest in MSP...nobody should get too comfortable with anything the way Delta is moving around flying.

So whats the reason for all the delta connection careers operating smaller percentage of flights out of their traditional domiciles (Mesaba-MSP, Skywest-SLC....)? Or I should say why is Delta moving more of the flying around? Are they getting set up to finally cut ties with one of their 8 or 9 regionals they contract with.

Wrong, this should be on Mainline Delta, with Delta pilots and equipment. Unfortunately, they dropped the ball on this.


Why is there such a thing as express anyway?? Everything should be flown by mainline crews. Even the props. Who's responsible for all this segregation??

It sure would be nice, but in reality Shuttle America was already flying 9 daily flights to MDW from LGA, and are now just switching to ORD. When they started those flights to MDW, the smallest plane DL had was the MD88, but now DL has A319s via NWA, and those are already moving to places where they fit better, like BOS to LGA shortly. Hopefully A319s will eventually go to ORD from LGA, but the route has to mature first.

Shuttle America was doing ORD-LGA, LGA-ORD for the Delta Shuttle out of the MAT about 4 years ago before they switched it to the MDW-LGA, LGA-MDW stuff.
