Thanks for posting internal company business on a public website! The 22 D3 report is a list published after an AE is awarded. We had vacancies left on the AE so actually we are a bit understaffed. Unless you understand the numbers don't post or comment on them. Things are just fine here at DAL and I think we will be welcoming some new folks in the next 6 months.

Peace!

Hey Midge, not bitter. Just sad that pilots gladly gave away pay and flying. Not much better than a scab really. Thanks for nothing Deltoidss.

Scab? Scab? Really!?!?
Do you even know the meaning of that word?
Then why don't you go after the United Pilots, Us Airways Pilots, and American pilots with the same vitrol? They all took much worse paycuts, and are still paid lower (except AA I think). I'm thinking your old lady was passed around a layover hotel and some Delta pilots had their way. No way you're this stupid. Nobody could possibly be.

187 early out retirements, mostly widebody Captains. That means multiple upgrades for each retirement, and hiring likely. But Spank my Clown is funny, and that is the important thing here.

OYS

You guys rolled over to a management that furloughed pilots while outsourcing their jobs. That's not scabbing, but it's one step above. I don't hold vitriol in my heart- but I do not respect previous generations of most legacy unions. The all- about-me generation is something this whole nation will spend years recovering from.

Unfortunately, I can't wish for your demise because your junior are generally the best among you.
Good luck fellas.

Hey A$sclown haters (not you Flyer) with no clue what they are talking about.....

-We just lost 192 pilots due to early outs.
-We have a slot swap due to be completed which will require 300-400 more pilots due to increased block hours.
-The Pilot Rest rules are due to change soon FOR THE BETTER. (read: more pilots)
-Company shocked how many Pilots AREN'T making 65 and all they have to do is drop paperwork and quit the next day....if a 777 Capt. leaves it takes a number of movements to train to that position.

This is nothing I have made up.....all from management roadshow 2 weeks ago.....then again the plan changes every three days.

The word is hiring in 2012 and for years to come, no numbers with that. The fact there are 192 early outs and gearing up for LGA equals busy training department. Which brings us to another problem, company wanted to move MSP sims to ATL, perhaps not so fast now.
