Spoke with a "sales person" at one of the academys in Florida. He stated that Comair is going to hire 500 Pilots this year.

Any truth to this?
 
the number is 400 for the rest of 2002 if they can get the aircrafts fast enough, apparently the factory can't produce them fast enough for Comair, they said 36 new rj's this year wow
