I was considering buying a Cessna 182--about early 1980s model.

For those of you who own and operate a 182, I was wondering what hull and liability insurance costs?

I have about 1,000 total time, the majority of it in Cessna singles, and I have a Commercial certificate with Instrument rating.

Thanks in advance!

Our 1971 182, with a 600 hr CFI and a 10000+ ATP named, hull ($75,000) and liability, about $1100-1300 per year.

I own a RG 1982 with an instrument rating and pay 1400yr. It's a great IFR platform to fly x-country with, not to mention the massive useful load it has.
