Does anybody out there know the best place to send an update to ATA ? I found nothing on the website.
Thanks in advance.

American Trans Air
Chief Pilot's Office
P.O. Box 51609
Indianapolis, IN 46251-0609

Chief Pilot's name is Dave Lindskoog.

Good luck.

You could try a fax at 317-282-5636

Yep...leather jacket is an option to the uniform. You can use the leather or the standard suit jacket. It's by the same manufacturer that supplies the SWA pilots.

It's a great jacket..very warm for those Chicago winters. When you are not flying the wings and epaulets are removable.

Seat Advancement

I read an article today that said ATA has taken delivery of 31 planes in the last 12 months. Is the seat advancement pretty quick or does the 31 a/c offset the retirement of the 727's and L1011's?

Thanks

So far, the new airplanes have mostly offset the retirement of the old ones. We just retired the last of the 727s, 24 total, and have retired 3 or 4 L1011s. Advancement has been kind of stagnant for the last two years. We should continue to take delivery of new airplanes, so hopefully that will change.
