For those who may have missed it...a great piece this week by Peggy Noonan ref the Miramar F/A-18 investigation results.

It's great that the Marine Corp decided to do the right thing and approach the investigation with transparency. BUT, some black marks on a few Marine Corp careers isn't gonna cut the mustard on this.

All but one of an entire family died in this including two infants. What amounts to pure negligence resulting in death is already admitted.

If the article is correct and a known fuel 'glitch' was known and ignored since July '08, Court Martial proceedings must be pursued.
 
So the Marines do what is expected of them, come clean and take responsbility, and that is political leverage to chide the current Admin?

Of course the current Admin should get critiqued.... not sure if being a right wingnut and using this USMC conclusion to hammer Obama is the way to go....
