Alaska and Vanguard...together?

Anyone hear any rumors regarding Alaska and Vanguard? I heard it from someone in the know the other day. Interesting idea considering the fact that Alaska is moving in-country.

I won't repeat any rumors here, but I think one thing is for sure: Either Alaska will buy someone or someone will buy Alaska.

That and a buck fifty'll get you a cup of coffee (except at the airport where it's two and a quarter).

Sure, you're about the 10,000,000 person to give a buyout rumor about Alaska in the last 5 years. I doubt that'll happen anytime soon considering that Alaska has one of the higher priced stocks in the industry.

I agree. No one is going to buy Alaska. There worth way too much. The rumor I heard was the other way around. Smoeone could buy VNGD for a song.

Good time for Midwest Express to buyout there competition in K.C.
Then they wouldn't have to base there so called business plan on what Vanguard does. The old 737's would fit in real nice with the old DC-9's.
