AirTran Interview----I'm Out

Interviewed in ATL last week. Face to face with Chief Pilot types and HR, all went well. Got called in for the sim ride in p.o.s. table-top ELITE. Everything went fine until short final, x-wind was direct 90' so I put a little rudder and aileron in, the sim was slow to respond, and I hit the ground and caused the alarm to go off.

I was told later that the sim results are sent electronically to Orlando, where the decision is a firm out or in.

When one door is slammed in your face, another one opens up.

I will try again in six months

Best wishes to everyone.
