Does anybody have any insight to the AA interview process? Headed to DFW next week and would like to know what to expect.

Expect a "topic of the day" essay and a 100 or so question test. you have 30 mins to complete it. Topic of the day usually is why do you want to work for AA? Then if you pass that you move on to the next step, interviews and what not

Doesn't AA have dispatchers on furlough? If so, why are they hiring?

They recalled before the bankruptcy filing and came close to re-furloughing them. I hear they had a handful of retirements that kept the furlough from happening.

Be prepared to answer what makes you better qualified over the other candidates in front of them. Knowing whose who in the AA ops hirecachy might help too.

Is the test basic ADX test type questions? Anything in particular?
Yeah basic ADX 101 stuff. I never took the test but this is what I heard from reliable sources. They just want to know you know what you're doing and if you can do the job really.
