Airlines ran by accountants.

Airplanes built by accountants.

What could possibly go wrong?

Is the answer really that simple? Or is it more that very cutting edge technology has its risk?

If You look at the history of the outsourcing and the issues they had it is evident that is a factor. When you also factor in that one of their solutions was to buy the companies they had contracted as outsources to fix their quality-it even more so points to that as the issue.

OMG, if the APU battery was the issue and it was the same battery type as the main battery and they did not do anything to change it, the boeing people are idiots. I am just saying......

Lets hope it was a galley issue and not a aircraft design issue.

Looks like someone didn't put their cigarette out!

I would dare say that its not just the 73 and military projects that keep Boeing going....lets not forget about the most popular Wide body in history...777. Those things are flying off the shelves and Airbus STILL doesn't have an answer. By the time the 350 gets going, the 777X will be out and once again, TROUNCE the Airbus product! ;)

You forgot pilots that make LOW six figures that think they are Gods gift to the world.

A Veterinarian Surgeon makes 350 a year...

Says the accountant......

The pictures look similar to the burned out white Chevy Caprice I saw next to the highway on our drive from Eskan Village to Riyadh Mil many years ago. A local family decided to have a cookout next to the highway. It started to rain so they moved their Hibachi grill into the car.

This was above the crew rest area; has anyone checked for a grill and fried goat in the crew rest area?

For the humor impaired, this was a joke. Feel free to post redneck jokes in rebuttal.

Lol keep telling yourself that. A 20 year old 777 with new wings and new engine ain t gonna cut it, just like the 747-800...Is boeing ever gonna get rid of the yoke so 80's.

Whatever caused this fire, it wasn't 'outsourcing'.
