Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
- Responsible for conducting classroom instruction in aircraft systems
- Responsible for flight simulator & aircraft instruction including flight procedures & techniques
- Conducts pre-flight & post-flight briefings
- Conducts pilot proficiency checks in flight simulator in accordance w/FAA regulations
- When designated, conducts FAA type certification check rides in flight simulator & aircraft
- Assist in course ware development & suggests improvements in training programs to keep courses up-to-date, accurate & responsive to client needs & desires
- Fly as a crewmember on aircraft in response to request for pilot services

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must meet the aeronautical experience for an ATP
- Above average presentation skills
- Above average interpersonal skills
- Above average communication skills, both verbal & written
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Experience with and/or desire to learn internet and intranet applications

Qualifications/Preferred:
- ATP certificate and appropriate type ratings
- 1+yrs experience as aviation instructor
- 3000 hrs total flight time
- operational experience in type
- bachelor’s degree
