Hey all you Corporate people:

Just in. For the 2002 Olympic Winter Games go to www.faa.gov/fsdo/slc for the latest paperwork to operate in and out of SLC. You have to fill out a criminal background check including fingerprints and two color passport pictures by January 21, 2002. If you have access to the NBAA airmail board the website is there to get the paperwork. It looks like the fingerprints can be done at your local Police Station as long as there is a Notary present.

800-532-0268 ext.134 for info.

Good luck.

Am I missing something here?

OK, I went to the SLC FAA site and browsed through that. The Olympics page is still under construction. What is the location you are referring to as "paperwork"?

If January 22nd is the deadline, shouldn't the dissemination of information be widely available right now to all pilots potentially affected by this ?

Found a better link

The passport pic's are for ID badges.
The Regional FSS Olympic Coordinator is Mr. James E. Pyles.

I went to the Adobe Acrobat Reader site and downloaded the Adobe reader 5.0, it took forever. The 4.0 reader will work as well.
