    NetJets Pilots Get TA

    NetJets pilots engaged in a mid-term bargaining effort and got a Tentative Agreement that includes;
    -Increases in 401(k) match to 63% over the life of the Agreement
    -Creates a Non-Discretionary Contribution 401(k) Mechanism which allows additional funds to be added outside of the 2019 $19,000 IRS Limit
    -Keeps Company Paid Health Insurance at Current Level
    -Base Pay Increases
    -New Flight & Duty Pay Program that pays per tour - if a pilot flies over 12.1 hours in a tour any additional hours flown are paid at $118/flight hour
    -Night Flight & Duty Pay Override of $50/hour
    All current OT provisions still apply and compound
    -Signing Bonus of $150 per month/service up to $30,000

    This and the new aircraft order should improve morale

    Everyone is just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
    This has been the pattern here after every contract. We get “all that there is” and then a couple years later the company throws more at us. I’m composing an open letter of apology to Local 284, the Fab5, and both sides on the Recall Group. Seems NJI had the best union of any fractional.
    At least now, if you want some of this money, you’re gonna have to fly for it. Previously flying had very little to do with how much you made.

    Apology letter? NJI Union? You work at NetJets? All the guys I talk to there seem to like it. Imagine having to work to be paid, hope you have no aspirations of going to a 121 gig.

    What’s not to like? Do you see any concessions from the pilot group?

    And finally, it works toward fixing the poultry excrement system we have now where those who fly the least get paid the most.

    As for NJI’s union; that was sarcasm. They were less productive than the A side but were paid more and mulcted the company of millions for their own stomachs and liquid entertainment. Meanwhile, we had guys terminated over unauthorized single digit charges on their company credit card.
