When he was at NJA he was golden. He knew the pulse of this place like none of the others w the possible exception of the “Great Santulli” himself.

Here is one example...Marquis had an image problem. Not in the public’s perception but in the company’s and the pilots. The clientele was seen as less than...well...less classy...for lack of a better term.
KD turned that around in a couple of ways. He lavished the pilots (and possibly the casino crowd) w Marquis Swag. Every holiday it seemed we’d get a big box loaded w hats, gear, coolers and little things that went a long way for image improvement. Also, there was a noticeable uptick of tips from Marquis card holders. Now this wasn’t advertised or publicized but it had KD’s fingerprints all over it. Guess what? It worked.

The General quoted all the time “Kenny could sell ice to the Eskimos”...

Now I can’t speak to working for him directly but just judging from his advertising and placement he still has the touch in that department. I’d like to hear from some WU bubbas for their take. Does the golden touch for ads translate to running the whole show?

That was a good cooler, I still use it regularly.
