    MSP commuter hotel?

Does the Thunderbird give a crew rate? I've never run into anyone who's stayed there. It is a classic in Bloomington.

    MSP commuter hotel?

The La Quinta is where all of us stay at Delta. I've stayed at worse you can consistently get a room and the staff is nice. I was on short call here some months ago. I checked in then got a trip two hours later. They didn't charge me anything for the room.

DOT votes against modified Delta-USAirways swap agreement - socialism???

That missed the point that their Delta's slots now. They're not looking for Govenment protection on what they do with them. They want to sell them to a willing buyer whom they choose. Actually that's captialism.

    Please Help!!!

In a previous life I flew an ORD-YWG-ORD turn in a CRJ (AWAC) with the landing gear deferred. We just had to fly low and slow with the gear pinned down.

Warning: Your Takeoff rotation may be an accelerated stall manuver

Ok, I've gotta ask: Who are you flying with? Our Airbus print's out a takeoff report that includes the maximum roatation rate on takeoff. I've never seen it once above 3.2 degrees per second, regardless of who's flying. I don't believe I've ever seen anyone rotate at 7 degrees/second. Although I...

Potential bidder circling Sun Country Airlines

That's only technicaly true if they were actually employed by Air Tran. Look at the NWA strike back in 98. All the regionals still operated. I don't hear anyone calling Mesaba scabs.

    I Think Its About Time

Ah - Do you mean FOQA? Which by the way can give you quite a bit of information, just not what they pilot's were saying or doing. FOQA is also covered under confidentiality agreements.

Letter of the week at Avweb.com about Airline Pilots

I'm just trying to stop people from making stupid decisions. People read information off ID's and name tags all the time. If it's in public view it's legit. Put your ID in your pocket if you don't need it and don't want people looking at it. Reporting "suspicious behavior" always has to have...

What does JO think of 50 seat RJs? Take a look at a quote....

I don't think anyone's hoping for anyone to lose their jobs. I believe the argument is about where the jobs will be distributed.

Put Down The Laptops and Fly the Plane NWA

That post is even remotely humorous.

    Sleepy NWA pilots?

    Actually they did.
