I have operated one since 2010 out of airports over 4000'msl and deal with fuel stops. The little bird fits the mission most times. Looks better than a Mustang or an Eclipse on the ramp and inside the cabin.
Depends on your needs. Works for us.
The 100 that I fly is underpowered and the 300 is a rocket. The 300 on a 1000 nm trip burns about 120 gallons less than a Citation Excel. I concur with chriskcmo on the other attributes.
A followup here- Erickson is ready to start aerial tests with a MD87. Anyone know if Aero Air is in partnership with Erickson. Does Aero Air have any firefighting experience?
NEPTUNE News
Neptune has BAE-146's certified and with experience the last season. Aero Air out at Hillsboro is modifying a MD-87 at their facility. It doesn't look like something ready to fly yet. A second one with Spanair markings was sitting next to the first last week. It will be interesting...
We operate two G200's and one has done some serious flying, once around the world. As said before, pluses are a big cabin and 1800-2000#/hr fuel burns. Downside is field performance, but we make it work. Both aircraft are very reliable.

Operate a BBJ, Challenger 300 and a Hawker. Maybe a twin otter on floats and a chopper on a yacht on the west coast, but that might not be current. Owner has been on the Forbes 400 list for a long time.
Recently our POI changed our ability to update FMS nav databases with the language "or qualified individual" provided that our Chief Inspector is emailed the database cycle and install date.

Maybe this F-20 is planned to carry those carrier killer cruise missiles.
What the Navy needs is malware to intercept the lock on of these missiles so as to turn them 180 degrees for a new lock on to the sender. haha

I pulled an all nighter last night and was asleep today when the phone rang. I lifted it and set it down. The phone rang again with a South SFO phone number. I picked it up, said HELLO and the woman on the other end called to follow up on a job offer and a start date.
I thought I was dreaming...
