    DEN-LAX Commute

There are lots of flights all day long between Denver and LAX. Many non-stop and just as many two leg through PHX or LAS. I don't recommend going though LAS because half the plane will be full of drunks on their way to adult Disneyland. Fun if you are one of them...pain in the @ss if you aren't...

Age 65, here it comes tomorrows WSJ

"The International Civil Aviation Organization, a United Nations agency that sets nonbinding global safety standards, last November determined that airline pilots could safely stay behind the controls until they turn 65, as long as the other pilot in the cockpit is younger than 60." I could go...

You really don't look professional in your leather jacket

Are we approaching January 1st or April 1st? This is a joke thread right?!? Just in case it isn't...I don't care if you're wearing a uniform coat tailored by Gucci; most of the overweight and overtired pilots I see slogging through airports don't look like they're ready to sit at diner counter...

    Gouge for FEDEX Poolies

Just do what all the locals do...find a car you like and carjack it.

    TWA 800 Opinion

You mean rational thought like understanding that ARTCC radar with a 5 second sweep rate and optimized to track secondary returns isn't capable of picking up primary returns on surface to air missile moving at mach 2? Or rational thought like realizing tabloid publications like WorldNetDaily...

NTSB MARKS 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CRASH OF TWA 800

What? If you think the President has exclusive control over secrets, than perhaps you think Clinton wanted the world to know about Monica. There is nothing that leaks faster than a scandal. And a cover up of a terrorist strike (or any strike) that killed hundreds of Americans is a pretty big...

NTSB MARKS 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CRASH OF TWA 800

There is a HUGE difference between politicians (including Congress) and the military. To start with, one group is actually accountable for its actions. And keeping a legal, highly classified, military program a secret can be done. Keeping the alleged source of the murder of hundreds of American...

NTSB MARKS 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CRASH OF TWA 800

Like what? And the Senate can't keep its own sexual indiscretions secret. You think they could cover up one of the biggest murder incidents in this nation's history, even if they wanted to?

NTSB MARKS 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CRASH OF TWA 800

Weird? You mean, kind of like your posts? You got some kind of fascination with my death? Lets hear it.

NTSB MARKS 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CRASH OF TWA 800

Well, my death alone would be simply a near disaster, but distributing the several pallets of dangerous goods we were carrying all over Tokyo probably would really hurt FedEx stock, and that would be a definite disaster.

NTSB MARKS 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CRASH OF TWA 800

TWA 800 was the subject of a full criminal investigation for two years after it happened. Maybe that is why the phones were bugged. Kind of funny that they all knew about it. You could have some fun with that. I think you are right about conspiracy theories kicking in when things seem to...

NTSB MARKS 10th ANNIVERSARY OF CRASH OF TWA 800

The only people who believe it was shot down by a missile are people who don't know anything about missiles. Missiles tend to leave a lot of evidence on things they hit. Like thousands of holes and pieces of warhead fragments. Boeing, TWA and ALPA, all agreed that there was no evidence of...

Zed?? Zed's dead baby. Zed's dead.

    check this out

No. It definitely is not an F-16. I think it was a Hawk trainer flown in Canada as part of their international fighter lead in training program. They are single engine as well.

Interviews are back on as well. I know two guys who just recieved news they will be interviewed in early April.

    Fedex Bid

I'm pretty sure Jack is just sick of getting asked when the bid is coming out. He obviously doesn't release the thing, so I'm sure he doesn't know. Meanwhile, he probably can't get within 20 miles of the AOC without someone giving him the ol' wink wink nudge nudge and asking for the inside...

    College of Liberals?

"she "questioned whether it was appropriate to honor a person who killed other people." " Ironic, considering she lives in a state and goes to a university named after one of our first and greatest military leaders.

    FedEx guys

I wondered who set pilotswap.net up. Thanks for doing it. I just registered a couple days ago and the site looks great. Just what I've been looking for. Thanks again.

    Fedex Mil Leave and Bids

The time it takes to get you into a training class depends on when the classes are available. Typically, there is almost always a class available within a couple weeks of your return. If there isn't, they do have to pay you once your orders end. However, since it is in their interest to get...
