As far as Pilot negotiations go they start in a couple of months. Hopefully, they go well. I've heard they are going to start in late Fall and hire 250 next year, However, this is only Rumor. GOOD LUCk

As far as UPS goes I think there are close to 2,600 pilots on the senority list. I would say that UPS is probably not as top heavy as FEDEX. I think that the next contract (2003-4) you will see probably 80+ retirements ( most of the over 60 guys) and then starting in 2005-2006 thru 2009 maybe...
BAD NEWS------I overheard some managers in the training center saying that there would be no new 747FE's hired this year.
GOOD NEWS------ They may still hire DC-8FE's or 757FO,s the FO's are very questionable. However, things change weekly.
