    ExpressJet Merges with ASA

Can you (ASA) personal drop? That is, either give a shift away with pay loss, or drop a shift WITH pay loss if excess staffing? (I doubt there's much excess staffing except maybe in winter....)

    ExpressJet Merges with ASA

LOL...now let's get to the IMPORTANT stuff.... Can you wear jeans to work - anytime, weekends, etc? Can you trade or personal drop to decrease working days - some call it auto...but not just a day or shift trade, but a trade to someone else for a drop to you, or a personal drop/no pay...

    ExpressJet Merges with ASA

Keep in mind the "official" position is that the decision as to what ops functions will move to ATL will happen during PMI. It's just that we all believe SOC will move. Why would it possibly stay in Houston? I just don't see a scenario that keeps what will be the former XJT SOC there. Now...

    ExpressJet Merges with ASA

XJT has roughly 38 dx lines right now...remaining peeps on dx list are hub coor/atc...so total seniority list in seventies but we dont have anywhere near 70 dx lines. How many flights a shift for ASA these days?

    Dispatcher training

Sigh....not what happened. I inadvertently posted clr's name in my post. Being a monitor, he reposted mine with the edit so I wouldn't get dinged for my mistake. Nothing to see here. We just happen to agree, I THINK, that neither experience nor inexperience is a guarantor of whether or...

    Dispatcher training

I hear ya, and I think we all agree he can get the license quickly and without too much expense. As for the experience, can go both ways. Some are leery of hiring super experienced pilots and investing in their training only to have them bolt if hiring picks up in that area. Many pilots HATE...

    PNCL Flight Bennies Question

I know benefits recently worsened under the DL/DCI agreement. Nonetheless, will anyone tell me how long to get flight pass privilege (non-rev) benefits after date of hire? I have info on non flight bennies - health, dental, etc. Just lookin' for flight stuff. Appreciate it...
