Opinions (supported by regs if possible). Can a non-certificated non-aviation company charter for the sole-use of an aircraft (i.e. for 100% of the aircraft availability) and then sell off some or all of that capability to other non-certificated non-aviation companies?
The scenario here is...

Good job for a military helicopter or dual rated pilot who has held secondary billets in maintenance, operations, safety, and/or logistics. Management experience definitely required!

A wake-up call from Luke's jets
Jun. 23, 2005 12:00 AM
Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base: Whom do we thank for the morning air show?
Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 a.m., a tight formation of...
Anyone hear about a Continental Express (okay - Express Jet) ERJ-145 having an engine problem between Houston and New Orleans today? Diverted into Lafayette(?).
No sinister purpose for asking. My boss was on the flight and I wanted to see if anyone knew the cause.
Guys, what's the max leg for the 135 (assuming about 20 pax & bags) standard day?
We're looking at setting up a charter on a recurring basis, and need to move about 20 people each way, about 1200 NM. Destination airports are 7100' elevation, 7100' runway; and 6750' elevation, 10,000' runway...
Question for you Lear drivers. Any experience with flap failure to function in icing conditions? Had a contractor divert because of this and I haven't been able to find any similar incidents during our internal investigation. Flaps retracted fine after takeoff (deiced before taxi, some slush and...
Interesting NTSB recommendation for the FAA on the use of failed checkrides in the 121 / 135 hiring process.

Looking at having to move two large (20' long, 18" square) heavy (800 lbs ea.) pieces of industrial gear from Norway to Venezuela. Non-military stuff. No hazmat. Time critical. Anyone know who might have this capability? UPS, Polar, etc.?
Anyone know who provides the aviation support service for Shell Oil out of Denver? Have a management interview coming up with Shell Aviation and need to fill a hole in my knowledge set.
If your medical is marked to indicate that wearing of eyeglasses is required, and your company policy is that you must carry a spare pair of glasses with you, can you deduct the cost of two pair of glasses as a business/equipment expense from your federal taxes?
Piedmont recruiter's name is.....
Robert Trout, Corporate Recruiter
Goes by Bob in person, use Robert in writing.
**************
This was supposed to post in the recent Piedmont string, but I must have clacked when I tried to click.
Anyway, if you are applying to Piedmont, Bob is the guy.
Piedmont is hiring and bringing on new aircraft to fly routes passed down from the mainline. If the mainline starts flying RJ's, what are the chances that those lines will go back to the mainline and the new PDT pilots will be back on the street?
Anyone have any scoop on quality of life, schedules, pay, gateways (if they have any), etc?
They're not listed on the fracstat site, and I'd like a little background on how the pilots like it there.
I have the basics already (Cartersville, J31's) and a buddy who works there as a non-pilot to...
Had heard a rumor that most of the Part 121 B1900's couldn't be modified to meet new security requirements and would have to be parked.
Specifically, the cockpits couldn't be made sufficiently secure.
True? False?
Haven't been down to the airport in a while so I haven't been able to check myself.
