Don't have regs handy, but look in P/C Glossary or AIM
Runway Visibility Value is an officially reported visibility, though i can't remember how it is measured.

recent interview
Just like other gouges, maybe more HR than technical.
I hope I get hired and can stay because from first impressions they are awesome. They went out of their way to make everyone relaxed. Don't stress the interview (i know it is hard not to) and be yourself. I got the...

As a prospective new hire with a possible class date of August 5, what should all of this mean to me.
Should I just jump and hope that the transition takes a while, or what.
Anyone know what the program actually proposes?
Does anyone know what the plan involves for Usairways express carriers?
How long does it typically take an express carrier to transition to a jet fleet? Are they looking to increase routes or just do away with all the turbo-props.

Do furloughed pilots typically retain any benefits (insurance, non-rev flights, etc...)?

HOMEWORK DONE
thanks for the reply, I got them confused with somone else and thought they were flying mostly cargo. That's why people ask the questions here, so as not to look like an idiot when it counts.
With about 1500 and close to ATP, what could a new hire expect to fly?
Do people generally start out flying single engine cargo then progress up the ladder?
Interested in what they fly, and what the online application is like?
Anyone know anything about Electronic Flight Solutions? They sell software on terrain awareness, wx radar etc... ? They are trying to get a network of instructors to teach it but you have to buy the software first $395.
Anyone have any hard facts on the company, or tried the program? Thanks.
Does it matter which one I take?
If I take the 135, is it acceptable to put it on my resume as
the ATP written or do i have to put ATA(which it really is). Do
interviewers really care?
Thanks
