Good areas to live based in HOU
Woodlands, Kingwood, Conroe, Katy etc. There are many areas around Houston that offer wonderful QOL and good schools. Blood Pressure meds
Two week waiting period to make sure no problems with medication. You will get blood work from doc to show no issues with potassium levels. Houston Hobby ?
Friendswood and Pearland are some areas closer to Hobby. Many pilots do live in Kingwood, Spring, The Woodlands, but those are to the north. Out west you have Katy, Cinco Ranch area. If you have kiddos a research on school districts is a must. -

Southwest Training
My understanding is if you medical out the premiums would be so expensive it would not be worth it. I don't mind the insurance if something should happen to me unexpectedly but I am looking for another plan to cover me if I do go out on medical. -

Delta upgrade to business for non revs
Unrelated to Delta but have purchased ZED in American for my mother to Europe and each time she was put in Business. Very much appreciated. Now I have purchased coach seats on Delta to Europe, can I get an extra snack?! Kidding of course. -

Ten years is a long time and, well, yes I think eventually. Keep in mind however that upgrade times for those joining at the bottom will be very long. It would be advantageous to try the airlines with high retirements first. If SWA is your goal then be patient and hopefully things will improve... -

Hmmm. I had a 50 minute turn on a through flight last trip. Have to admit we were a bit surprised with that one. On average 30 minute turns for me. -

Swa 717
I went from flying an -800 to flying the 717. Nice airplane, very automated. Now we just need our (SWA) 737 up to speed on autolands. PS-Never did like leaving the AT on all the way to landing, normaly I would override the AT. Autopilot off, autothrottles off, What floats your boat I guess. -

SWA/Airtran pilot integration thoughts, what will the new list look like?
In response to the B plan over there, yes it is better than our 9.3% match. Now if I would still be at Airtran I would be making $74 an hour at an average of 85 hours. $74 * 85 = 6290 * 10.5% is $660.45 That is pretty good. Now at SWA I make $99.02 * 105 TFP = $10,397.10 * 9.3% is... -
