Let's look at the num's
Ok, G4G5, you can selectively choose your upgrade estimates from previous posts.
One guy said:
"3 years to upgrade on the bus is not likely. 12-14 months upgrade on the E190 is plausible. After the 2 year fence comes down for the initial E190 captains, they will most...
At least the brainwashing appears to have worked...
If you really think putting the low cost carriers out of business will solve all of your problems, I believe you are sorely mistaken.
The market drives this industry and (y)our payscale. If the market could support paying us $300k to fly...
"FNG" for a reason...?
Ya' just don't get it, do ya'? I'm sure they listened to you. Just because our very capable leadership, Al included, disagrees with you doesn't make them wrong and you right. I tend to believe we do indeed have a plan for the future. You may not yet be privy to the...
What th'
Nice attitude.
First you want to lie in order to get hired, and before you're even hired you want to tell "them" to "shove it".
What else should you lie about in order to get hired? Your background, perhaps?
I hope you're not really in the Guard or Reserve. I have been...
fuzzy math
Some interesting points in Souder's article, but like most reporters these days, she neglects to understand the math behind the financials.
"JetBlue will add about 35% to 37% more capacity next year, slowing its growth. The airline's capacity in November was up 53% compared with a...
Atta boy!

You rock.
Couldn't be more astounded at the disinformation spread by union and other un-named sources about our company. I am happily employed by a great company that pays a great wage and who's leadership I trust.
Those of us in Blue do not wish any one else at any...
Congrats!!!
Congrats, Krunch & Goin' Blue. Yer gonna' love it here.
Sure, I've only been on the line a whopping 3 months, but this really is a great place to be. The jet is fun to fly and the people are GREAT!
Hope to hear some good news from other new hires out there.
Good luck to all...
Definitely online!
Jetblue.com (work here) website is definitely the place to apply. It should be easy to follow, but let me know if you have any problems.
Good luck!

I'd be surprised...
...if we cancelled any training classes and had NOT heard any such thing about Nov. All classes are filled through Dec last I heard due to USAF Stop Loss floodgates opening up and freeing the hostages.
Due to the above, calls/interviews might slow down for a month or two...
Pretty darn quick!
From what I've seen (which so far is only the windscreen of the sim), upgrades are happening at about the 1 yr point.
It's a great place to be. Everyone I've met from the line is extremely happy!
Good luck to all!
Shaggy
Congrats!
Dude,
You're gonna have a great time here!
I'm currently in training in Miami. Workin' pretty hard, but the course is good and we have some great instructors.
You'll get all you need to succeed when you show up here. The airbusdriver website is cool, but might not make a whole...
Approved!
USAFE aproved my Stop-Loss waiver, but only because I got hired by AFR. No fancy footwork other than that required. My WG/CC and OG/CC have been VERY fair and understanding about this. They even pushed to get USAFE on board with this policy.
As long as you're staying in the Total...
Great News!!!!
Got the call from jetBlue for an 8 july class!!!!!
Still can't believe it! I heard they hired all but one who made it to the background check, which would be 41 out of about 80 or so who interviewed.
I'm gonna' be a busy hombre separating from the AF and moving back from Italy...
Dunno
Not sure about the historical percentage who make it from Phase 2 to job offer, but I'm certainly hoping to be in that group!
Interviewed 17 April with about 80 other folks. 42 of us went on to background check. Most of my ref's have been called so far.
I got the impression they would...
Congrats!

Congrats on the call! Aviationinterviews.com has some good info for you. Need to register first.
I interviewed in April (their calling my references now) and had a really great time. Relax, be yourself and answer their questions with specific SAR responses.
You're going...
Had a great time!
Sorry, Dudes. Didn't have access to a computer for a while.
I had a great time at the interview and I think (hope) it went OK. Actually, these folks are so nice I think you'd leave feeling good about the interview even if you completely tubed it.
As noted above, the gouge...
Thanks!
Thanks, guys!
I appreciate all the good words! I'm really looking forward to the interview. Everyone I've met so far has had nothing but positive words for jetBlue. Hope I get the opportunity to join your team.
Jointops, Trueblue, congrats yourselves! Hope to see you 'round some...
Got the call...er...email last night for a 17 Apr interview!
I applied online last Oct, updated Dec and Jan. Reapplied via the new online system in March and emailed an update shortly after.
Needless to say, I am way stoked!!
Anyone else out there get a call?
Good luck, folks! Hope to see...
Could be...
That may be true, but all I've heard from buddies on the inside is to reapply via the new system regardless of previous app.
Also heard if you're having trouble with the new web app, talk to someone there (really friendly) or email Dean as a last resort.
Good luck to all!
Shaggy
