Is OMA still a domicile? Does any reserve go on out of there or is it all MKE? If OMA is a domicile is it junior or senior? Thanks

    Flight Options questions

I can't answer that but there are guys out here who can, so I'll move it back to the top for you. You're right fractats won't be much help on those questions.

    Air Wisconsin and their mins

Chief pilot? Anyone know if the chief pilot is still Scott Orozco?

    Air Wisconsin Update

more questions Does anyone know how long a new hire can expect to be on reserve? What are the typical new hire lines like? Both reserve and new line holder? How feasible is it to one hop commute? If you didn't get your choice out of training, i.e. Do-328/Den, are you locked in whatever you...

    declaring an emergency

keep it simple FreightDog is right on. Spoken from experience I'm guessing. Me too. I would add anytime you might conceivably need to roll the crash trucks or rescue team in your direction to help your, or passengers, little pink bodies.

    Info on AEPS job fair?

Their website still says tentative in Dallas in Sept. I'm wondering if they usually have it concrete by this late or if it's normal. Anybody know anything?

    Regional Pilots..this is it

Well, it won't be easy. Freightdog, I know, it also came up when in the Delta/Comair relations a few years back. Same result. As you can imagine most of the Comair guys would go to the bottom of the Delta list, which makes Delta happy. There's enough fairly senior guys who wouldn't go for...

    Regional Pilots..this is it

Darn close Mak Mak, I like everything you say, but I would add to the last part. Combine seniority list, all new hires at the Major(Specifically here, Delta and U.S. Air) start in the RJ. Pay has to be parity on scale as you mentioned. Now this allows ML to fly and RJ anywhere anytime a...

    How low can you go??

it's been worse A while back it was .23, or .24. Three days later it was 1.50. Could've used that buy. And, yes it seems to be fairly normal ops for them to be declared 'unable to continue' by "analysts", yet they persist. I'd be able to buy a few shares if I had a nickel for everyone of...

    Got a call

So you're saying there's a chance Sweet! Glad to hear it. Good luck to both of you! Maybe you could offer Eric a highly caffeinated beverage to help him sift through his volumes of resumes. Maybe even put him in a good enough mood he'll keep mine around! At least for another day anyway...

If the Captain went below mins...

Since we're on the interview board.... All responses are have been important to me, lots of experience giving lots of food for thought. What I'm really wondering: What response have you guys given at an actual interview and were you hired! I expecially like Toad4's decision tree for...

    Ifr Question

A Squared's got it A Squared's answer is right on. It's also correct to the original question. Whether or not a company lets you do this or not is another queston. Is it safe or smart, open for argument. No it's not common in the contiguous U.S., I did the Alaska thing as well where it's...

    Cessna pays $1.6million

I know, I hate it , but I know. RJones, Of course you got a couple of posts in that did further explain some of the things I was hoping to drag out of you before my typing skills got me on the board. Funny, I know. Specifically about preserving an accident scene. I had a buddy killed in a...

    Cessna pays $1.6million

Give me a break RJones, just so we're clear. Because Cessna had a lawsuit filed against them, it should cost them 1.6 Million to settle. Give me a break! If it isn't Cessna's fault, here's what it "should" cost them to prove it: $0. Period. Like the judge throwing it out because of...

    Enjjpt

so you're going to sheppard Just graduated March 2000. For those who wonder enjjpt stands fo Euro Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training. Half the class will be Americans and half will typically consist of Germany, Norway, Netherlands, and then maybe a couple from Italy, Turkey, Belgium, or a rare...

    King Air 200 sim?

Anyone know a good place to buy time to practice in a King Air sim? Or for that matter a place that has several different sims a one location? How much do they usually run? I realize that was a vague loaded question. Thanks for all thoughts

    PSA-Mesaba

say those days off again? Not doubting you at all, just want to make sure you meant days off, not on. That's a bunch(19,20) and that's awesome. I need to commute to a guard job and that's the number one thing on my list. Also, how long on reserve in the saab, and how senior to have to ge...

PIC Single Turbine vs. Multi Piston

good darn question Best answer-----It depends As previously mentioned, the 1000 pic turbine requirement is a killer to tons of otherwise well qualified applicants. Some airlines(majors that is) specifically state it, other used to, and some use it as a benchmark regardless of whether it was...
