yes i think it would be best for furloughed, but if they open portland that doesn't mean there will be more slots in seattle...just because people transfer to pdx doesn't mean they have to replace them. that is the big question in all of this, how to they want to reallocate the flying?
if you want it you can bid it and then go, that would save someone from being forced up there....if no FO/CAs want anchorage then the most junior will be forced up there, just like i was.
Base within a base is more efficient so less pilots required, if we do it we need something good in return that will last.....big bargining chip, the company wants this very badly....but they need etops pilots fast so they can't afford to screw around....displacing to an etops base is easy...
