Just thought I'd post some info I got from UPS pilot HR today; it may all be old news to this forum, so please excuse it if so. I can at least assure you it's accurate.
Pilots Hired 2004-2006: 445
Next Class: January ~15: 18 MD-11 F/O (10 to ANC, 8 to SDF)
I asked what the hiring forecast was...
Well, this is probably bad news for some but hopefully good news for the poolies. Direct from UPS HR, interviewing is slowing down to virtually nil. The reason for this is that approximately 230 have been hired this year, and there are between 60-70 in the pool. It was implied that the plan...
Black leather expandable briefcase/attache with "gold" fixtures (locks, etc). Purchased two months ago and is still in original packaging. Used for one interview, and it's batting 1.000 :D .
I paid $63 and will sell for $50 which includes shipping.
Please PM me if interested.

Well, I've been looking here on the site for news regarding UPS pool activity, but the news came in the form of a phone call this morning. I got the contingent offer for a class sometime around the end of August or early September (TBD). I interviewed mid-June, & got my pool letter less than 2...
Just wanted to pass along a lesson learned:
I've been through several airline interviews in the past, but was recently caught by surprise with a request to bring a copy of my college diploma to the interview. Now I've ordered a replacement and am hoping it gets to me before my interview...
I'm sure it's in a thread somewhere, but I can't find it.
Can someone please post the current UPS first year pilot pay. Any links to pilot pay websites would also be appreciated.
Thanks!!
OK
What's the latest on the phone interview process at jetBlue? Are they still going out on somewhat of a predictable schedule (i.e. a few weeks before scheduled interview cycles)?
On a related topic, what is the latest interview schedule?
Thanks to anyone who's willing to catch me up.
OK
Just wondering how most of you are paid for your meals when on the road. Do you just expense it all on a company card, or do you receive per diem? If it's per diem, how much per hour, and when does the clock start and stop? Any other pertinent info would be nice.
I'm in the unique...
Anyone out there flying a CJ2 in Part 135 operations? Just wondering how it performs in that role as far as operating cost, marketability, etc. I've heard baggage capacity is an issue especially with oversized items like skis and clubs.
Thanks!
Anyone know anything about the Airmed Hawker program based in Birmingham, AL? Schedule, quality of life, blah, blah, blah...standard questions.
Thanks.
OK
I know it's asking for speculation, but I was hoping someone could make a wag at when a pilot hired by SWA this month will go to class (based on current number in the pool, forecast hiring, past experience, etc.).
Thanks to any who are willing to throw something out there.

Looking for places in the Nashville area to send resumes for corporate or charter jobs. I would appreciate any information on what's available, reputations, etc.
Thanks!
Did a search on the board and couldn't find the answer to this one, so...
Which major airline pilot groups haven't taken concessions since 9/11. Partial Answer:
Delta
Southwest
Alaska
The other question could be: which ones have?

135 Turbo-Prop PIC Pay
I know this information is in previous posts, but I'm having a hard time tracking it down. SO...could I please get some input on what turbo-prop PICs are making out there? Conquest II information would be especially useful. I appreciate that there are regional...
Just thought I'd point out that Polar Air Cargo is advertising for First Officers on their website. Not sure when this opened up, but it's the first I had heard/seen of it.
If anyone has any more info, please post!

I have heard rumor that Atlas pilots on furlough may have the opportunity to go to training with Polar Air Cargo, though this could mean sacrificing a line number with Atlas. Can anyone confirm this or give any other info on the subject?
Thanks in advance.
