Slowing speeds to save on fuel costs
Any other companies telling pilots to slow it down to save fuel latley? Please let me know or send me a private message. I heard a memo was sent to other pilots too.
Slowing it down may save a little $$$ on fuel, but it always seems to end up costing us...
I am trying to compare fractional company salaries.
A list appears at http://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/content/view/44/36/
Is this an up to date list?
Thanks

Netjets will be fine. No strike will occur.
The National Mediation Board www.nmb.gov is still running the show. From what I understand from speaking with people who understand and are involved with the situation, the NMB won't give the plot's union the clearance it needs to legally strike...

A good response and some good points. Thanks.
I also think having a stronger position would benefit us.
I just don't think that this topic is a battle worth fighting for. There are other topics that we stand a chance at winning. This doesn't appear to be one of them.
Potential benefit of persuing this challenge? Virtually nothing.
Potential expense and time to be wasted persuing this challenge? Virtutally everything.
We need to focus on the important topics. This one appears to be a potential big distraction and big expense.
Very little to benefit...
The thought of this may give me nightmares. I can't tell you how many times I have seen something like this "almost" happen to good and bad pilots.

Is each fractional company dedicated to several FBO providers or do they change throughout the year? (at airports with more than one approriate FBO?). I guess what I am asking is, what major FBO "chains" are used by which Fractional Companies? Thanks.
Flight Options just registered and reserved hundreds of "LX" tail numbers. I can't imagine why they would spend the money to do that unless they were changing their name or the fleet was going elsewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if a merger or buyout is in the works. I bet Raytheon wants to...
Being in a helpful mood, I went to www.raytheonaircraft.com to try to find out some information for you. Whoa! - they don't even mention the aircraft anymore! What does that tell you?
I am interested in learning more about the benefits package for Flexjet pilots. I think I understand the salary scale, but I want to know more about the rest of the "package." If there is a place on the web that shows this info. please let me know. Thanks

SHEESH! You guys crack me up.
Merry Christmas Everyone
Lighten up guys (or gals). It's amazing how tense everyone is - even the lighthearted posts get slammed. I was going to post an (unfunny) response comparing the pilot's shoe sizes, but I am sure the responses it would create wouldn't make it worth the effort.
Ask the company you hired to fly you in the first place. Any professional pilot or customer service rep or salesperson would tell you the answer (they are the only people that could review the records and communications to see what REALLY happened).
I can't imagine why you would ask these...
