    Landing mins

121 guy here. Flying to an airport the other day with poor weather. The ILS required 3/4, but the field was reporting only 1/4. A "dotcom" flight accepted the approach and flew in. Smaller airport, no RVR. How is this legal? Thanks

    Getting to Cargo ramps

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get from the passenger terminals to the cargo ramps in an attempt to catch a jumpseat. Specifically Fedex or UPS in DTW. Thanks!

    Call for Release

What is the definition of that? I've been to airports that allow me to give them an estimated wheels up time and they then call and come back with either a" no delay", say to expect my given estimated wheels up time, or say a there's a delay and give an actual wheels up time. all this before...

ASA PBS = No more CDO's

Anyone notice there are only 34 total CDO pairings for the month of March! That equates to about 2.5 lines. We have averaged 25 nap lines a month for the last few years. Don't know the actual number, but Feb equated to about 30-40 nap lines. How do they go from that to 2.5 lines in 1 months...

    ASA July lines...

Worst I've seen in 6 years. Kinda surprised this wasn't a thread already. Down to just 17 nap lines, the line with most days off is only 16? Only 24 lines with 15 or more days off (16) Oh and they are ALL 4 DAYS. WTF?

    ASA and having a baby

I have spoken to many about this and have yet to get a concrete answer. I also looked over the FMLA info. I was hoping someone on here might have had some recent experience. If I use FMLA can I use the sick time in my sick bank so I can still make some $$? I have heard it answered both ways...

    Spouse on the overnight?

I have seen others who bring their wife on an overnight. The few times I have seen it, once we arrive at the destination the wife usually just takes the hotel van with us. If its a big Airport I think she leaves early to go through security on the way back. In any event I was thinking of doing...
