Holy crap man! Don't take it the wrong way but...........5 year FO pay could be a lot better, but damn, curret pay shouldn't mean bankruptcy. Why even work for AT if its not financially viable?

The C series would be really nice to fly and a really good replacement. Its also neat they are considering 20-25 B737-800's. Guess we will see.
Hey, I totally agree that EYW should be a special airport. It is with most airlines because swamp effect that creates illusions when the heat rises off of it. I think we should have special training..ie. sim training at least or OE down there. Safety is first. Hopefully MP will be on top of this...

A good pilot should always take all factors into consideration and not cowboy it like you seem to be interested in. Ty is just being careful and there is nothing wrong with that.
The WX was horrible that weekend and crews were timing out. Most of the flights ran until the 3:30 to 4 in the morning that whole weekend. I give Airtran credit for trying thier best to complete thier sked even with the shortage of crews. I didnt see many DAL flights leaving at 2am......
