What would you all think of a guy who rats out hearsay (to the FAA) things about fellow pilots just to get even with management?
121 legacy-carrier guy, no less.
Especially when the pilots he ratted out were on his side, but he decided that didn't matter, as long as he could settle his score...
Score one for common sense and personal responsibility!

GOOD!
It is sad that people crash airplanes, but the original 14M award was insane.
Families of these pilots sue aircraft manufacturers for two reasons:

15449's Jeff Skiles Takes on 3407 and Pilot Standards
Jeff Skiles was serving as first officer to Sully Sullenberger when US Airways Flight 1549 successfully ditched in the Hudson and last week he sat beside Scott Maurer, father of a victim of Continental Connection (Colgan)...
I'm looking for input about proving runs for a Citation.
We have read all the FAA guidance, and we feel we're ready, but I would like any last-minute bits of wisdom from people who have been through this process.
Any good tips or ideas about how to make it go smoothly?
Thanks.
Minimum qualifications are somewhat negotiable, but the preference is to have someone that meets the 36 months of 121 or 135 PIC to qualify for the chief pilot position.
Some previous turborop time required, King Air preferred. Prefer 4000 TT.
PM for details.

I have a question regarding computing the sliding 24 hour window. After experimenting a lot with many different scenarios, I have begun to think that there is an easy way to compute flight time in a 24 hr window.
I believe that it is only necessary to compute all flight time that occurs in the...
Hypothetical scenario: A pilot flies as PIC for an operator that has turboprops and piston aircraft, flying both 135 and 91 in managed aircraft. They hire a part-time pilot who flies on the 91 flights to gain experience prior to going for 135 training.
Since the flights he would be on are 91...
I have been recently looking into the possibility of writing a flight and duty time tracking program and have been asking around about the best language and/or method, when I had what might be a better idea.
Is anyone interested in starting an open-source project on this? At first, the scope...
Are very many business jets certified under part 23, or are most part 25. I've been searching the FAA website, but have not been able to find much help.
My understanding is that most jets are part 25 except for some of the smaller ones like the CJ's and the Premier.
I know of a company that is looking for a 135 pilot for piston PIC and King Air SIC in the Minneapolis area. Full time salary plus benefits. Aircraft are very well maintained. Looking for close to 2000 total time and a couple hundred multi.
PM for more info.
If you are current in the left seat there are some potential simulator and ground instruction opportunities in MSP.
For FO's, there are ground instructor opportunities.
Note: I am not posting this officially, of course, but I can put you in touch with the program director if you are...
