    Trans States Classes

Nevets you are really, really dense. CQFOs only fly in the left seat when there is not a qualified Captain available, otherwise they fly in the right seat. Nobody's rights are being violated. In fact, if any FO that meets qualifications puts in a bid for Captain, they are paid Captain pay if...

    Trans States Classes

No one is being upgraded "off the street". CQFOs will not be upgraded until they put in and are awarded a Captain upgrade.

    Trans States Classes

Nevets why do you care? This is for TSA pilots to worry about. TSA pilots on property knew what the upgrade minimums were when they were hired. No one is complaining about this but you. CQFOs exist so that the seniority rights of FOs on property will not be violated. CQFOs are offered a blended...

    Trans States Classes

Really Nevets you need to get a life. The fact is you are in a contract industry. Your company does not own any flying United does. Why don't you spend your time trying to get to a job that is not outsourced work then you don't have to worry about anybody else outbidding you for flying. Until...

    Trans States Classes

No sale involved. Skywest (Expressjet management) chose not to renew the leases on these aircraft with United. United put them back up for bid and Trans States was awarded the bid. And it is 36 aircraft not 14.

    Trans States Classes

CQFO has nothing to do with FO hiring. We have been filing new hire classes with no problem. Trans States CBA does not allow for the hiring of street Captains. This is to protect the seniority of the FOs on property as they will upgrade ahead of any CQFOs when they have the time.

    Trans States Classes

You know this is crap Nevets. No one is getting bypassed that is qualified.
  8. Indy319FA

    Trans States Classes

Current FOs here are not upset over the CQFO because they do not have the time to upgrade. The company will hire enough CQFOs to make sure they have enough people qualified to upgrade. No FOs will get bypassed. As they get the minimums they will upgrade. End state will have All the FOs on...

    Trans States taking XJT jobs

Exactly. TSA pilots never took a concession and have a decent contract with cancellation pay. You should know Hulas never takes a loss on flying. If he's taking it, it makes money. Gonna be interesting to see how Holdings staff these, Compass, and Gojet this summer. TSA will probably need...

Former ALPA EVP arrested for child molestation.

Could be one of those "me too" things where prosecutors start jumping into high profile cases if they have any jurisdiction.

Former ALPA EVP arrested for child molestation.

Consider yourself lucky. Most of the guys I've talked to that have been through this had a nasty time. Remember hell hath no fury.....

Former ALPA EVP arrested for child molestation.

Yep its amazing what women will do to get a leg up in a divorce. Went through a nasty one myself and I wouldn't be surprised if this was related. If he's guilty, however he should get the maximum sentence. No excuse for this kind of stuff.

What will Republic do with their big C-Series CS300 Order?

Don't be surprised if legacies move away from this as well. The "portfolio" concept of keeping several regionals in a hub may help if there is an interruption in service, but it is horribly inefficient and requires a lot of deadheads and downtime that are difficult to manage under 117 and an...

What will Republic do with their big C-Series CS300 Order?

The 190s were flying for Midwest Express before Bedford bought Frontier. Scope applies to certificates, not holding companies. The original Airways scope only applies to what is flown for Airways, not the entire certificate unlike Delta and United. This is why Bedford could put any size aircraft...

What will Republic do with their big C-Series CS300 Order?

Not if they are on the Republic Certificate. Those restrictions only apply to the Chautauqua and Shuttle America certificates. Bedford is a master of the multiple certificate game to get around scope clauses.

    Where is your $5000 bonus?

Teamsters Airline refused to represent them. They are represented by a different division of Teamsters.

    Republic Pilot faces prison

What an idiot. If they find out he retransmitted any of the pictures she sent him Mustafa can be charged with trafficking in child porn as well. That being said, a lot of these young girls can make themselves look older than they are. Buyer beware on this online stuff. Cops don't care what...

    Endeavor Flow for New Hires

No surprise here. NWA tried something like this in the mid 90s and it failed miserably. They tried to send people from UND with 300ish hours to Mesaba (when Mesaba's hiring mins at the time were 1000/100 and you had to have an ATP to be competitive) with Northwest seniority numbers to build time...
