Current 737 Type Rating Costs
4 years ago....cost me 9 years of my life and 7000 hrs in every variant that Boeing made (and a couple they didn't) of that fluf....but I got it. Can,t imagine what the purpose of the paid for paper rating is....... -

CASM and outsourcing
in order to balance casm you have to back out labor and fuel from doc and then insert an average cost for each......without that, casm is meaningless -

SWAPA calls all former AirTran pilots
So the moment that the merger is complete and SWA has protected their own and the Airtran people become SWA people then how will SWA protect them. Maybe 150 former Airtran /new SWA pilots are happy and the rest have a really bad attitude....Does not make sense.....the SWA corporate types must... -
