I was reviewing some IFR stuff, and found that the regs (Part 91) say that to be IFR current, a pilot must log 6 approaches down to minimums to be current. Being that all Capt.s must do recurrent every 6 months, this obviously isn't a problem for them. But what about F/O's? The regs only...
Just got my copy of the new ALPA Express newsletter. Apparently a brand new section of ALPA focused on the regionals. Anybody else think that this is a direct result of pressure from the likes of RJDC and more vocal discontent from so many regionals these days?

I was wondering....if your destination airport is close enough to your departure airport to legally be filed as a takeoff alternate, can you legally file your destination as the takeoff alternate if you need one, assuming the WX at your destination meets alternate requirements? I'm thinking yes...
