    It's Official...The 717's are going to Delta

So after Delta pilot vote to give up more scope, which regional is getting the 717's?
  2. WayBack

    PSA or Skywest

SkyWest all the way. Regional life sucks anywhere you go, but it really sucks when you have to pay ALPA to bend you over the coals.
  3. WayBack

    AA or Delta?

Anderson was the guy to pull them out of BK, not the guy to run them in the future. I agree with your contract talk as well, especially with Lee Moak as ALPO President....he loves them RJ's!

Be very careful Trannies.... Dont F it up.

Look at the history of SWA, they don't whipsaw, they just eliminate. Trannie pilots hit the jack pot already. Take it as it is and be happy.

    Applying to DELTA

Why would you want to go to Delta? Furloughs will be happening fairly soon.

    SkyWest to buy Comair

So since they were their hats, they're professionals? Interesting. So since they require you to pay to apply via Airline Apps, just like the regionals do, what's that say about them?

DL - no single aisle orders

The regionals shouldn't be flying these airplanes, but as long as Delta pilots keep voting to relax scope, they will continue to give their jobs to regional guy. Some of the regional guys are too dumb to realize that the when they fly bigger and bigger planes, jobs with mainline will no longer...

DL - no single aisle orders

    Next up.....FURLOUGHS!!!

Engine Fire Joining LOC on Approach

Wow, it's amazing how many of you guys took this so seriously. A few of you answered this as if it counts on your next recurrent ride. Have a little humor in life, it might loosen up the poles stuck up your *******

Gulfstream loses lawsuit filed by former Captain

Why was he flying with his knees? The kid can go wait tables with his other lawsuit buddy, because he will never get another job. First he gets fired for flying with his knees, then he sues the company because of his actions.

    Congrats Go Jets

I'll keep it short and sweet. It's ALPA representing both the mainline and regional's....those same regional's who are flying mainline routes (3-4 hour legs shouldn't be done in an RJ) for cheaper wages than mainline pilots. On top of it ALPA is representing the regionals who are undercutting...

    Congrats Go Jets

In this tough economy and hard times in the industry, we at ALPA can just ask you to keep paying your dues. Otherwise will try and have you fired. Good Day.
  13. WayBack

    Hey delta guys

Exactly. You have 5 different ALPA represented regionals flying all the same airframe for different pay. These union brothers have all taken pay cuts to get more flying and bigger airplanes, all being taken away from their ALPA brothers at Mainline. Now THAT'S UNITY!

Tierd of it all? I am....

I have a childhood friend who is a high school teacher now. She screamed and yelled that it was BS for the Spirit pilots to strike, stranding PAYING passengers. I just want to call her and tell her it's BS that teachers are striking and kids are missing out on an education.

    Workers deserve a choice

They've been "arguing" since the 1960's for better rest rules, looks like we're still going by the FAA Standard. The only reason rest rules are getting looked at closely now, is because of the Colgan crash. If that crew hadn't said what they did on the CVR, the rest rules would have never came...

Why do CAL flight attendants hate XJT pilots?

They don't hate you, they're just sick and tired of hearing "Hey babe, I'm a jet pilot.....that's right, I fly a JET!"

    9E/XJ/9L contract is out

HA! Coming from a guy who will take a lousy, insult of a pay raise for better work rules. Obviously you haven't been around long enough to watch management molest, rape and pillage work rules.

    9E/XJ/9L contract is out

really? Hotels? We're talking about hotels? You guys make it sound like you're in these places for 2-3 weeks at a time on vacation with your families, and you need more local attractions to go see. personally, I would rather take a dump hotel (because there really is no difference, they're all...

    GO JET Airlines open House

Completely agree. It's funny how it's perfectly acceptable to fly for Freedom Airlines now since they're ALPA. But GoJet is bad since they're not ALPO. More power to you guys for not people ALPO.
  20. WayBack

    GoJet February 10 openhouse

Yeah, might work. They have furloughed UAL, DHL and ex TWA guys flying for them. They don't have to worry about people not showing up.
