    Novartis

Anyone know what's going on with their department? I see both of their Globals on the market (N67RX and M-MNAA (formerly HB-INJ)). Hopefully an upgrade coming and not another Pharma department going TU.

Flex LR60 guys interested in Contract work

We may need the occasional services of some contract help in our Lear 60 in BHM in the next month or so. If you live within a reasonable driving distance of Birmingham and are interested, or know someone who is, please PM me and let me know your day rate. I have nothing set in stone yet, just...

    Flexjet LR-60 uncontained engine failure

Anyone have any news on this out of South Florida? Apparently the engine shop called my boss asking if they could use our engine that's just coming out of repair as a loaner to ferry this airplane back to Dallas. Not sure why it needs to be ferried back to Dallas with a service center there in...

    EFB/Jeppview 3.0 Issue

Anyone else using Jeppview 3.0 on a Fujitsu LT860P EFB? I just upgraded to v3.0 and I can get it to open in windows mode, but not FGS mode. Any suggestions from anyone?

Looking for Mesaba pilot...(I think he is, anyway)

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mike Baummer (Parks College mid '90's) please let him know someone who lived in the dorm on the floor above him is trying to get in touch with him and point him to this message. If needed, I will pm someone my contact info to give to him. The last info I had...

Lear 35 Main Entry Door Springs

Anyone had one of the springs that hold the top half of the door open fail in flight? We've had a few fail as we were opening the door (makes a very loud pop - sounds like a shotgun), or when it was already open, but we had one cut loose on climbout. Had to change my drawers!

Who says the press gets av. stories wrong?

Those Earth-Scoops should be immediately grounded by the FAA. They don't even have rudder pedals fer chrissakes! http://www.nbc13.com/news/7811236/detail.html

So now we're specifying the degree.....

...for underpaid jobs? WTF? Do you have to come in to the hangar on your days off and do differential equations. Maybe it's so you can update the CP's logbook.

    International Paper

International Paper is moving corp HQ to Memphis in August, and I'm interested in obtaining employment with their flight dept when they make the move. I'm going to operate under the assumption that a pilot or two will not make the move from HPN. I'm just wondering what's the etiquette on...

    NYC Hotels

Looks like we're going to have a few days in TEB later this week. Anyone have any good recommendations for hotels in the city, preferably less than $250 clams? I'm tired of staying in Secaucus. One can only eat at the Outback so many times.

    Total time/instrument ratio

I just want to get a feel for how everyone's total time stacks up against their instrument time. I remember reading a job posting a couple of months ago for a corporate shuttle CRJ in Houston. The mins were 4000 total and 500 instrument. One of my groundschool instructors in college was...

    Not again

From duats and NBAA AirMail: Another reason to tell the boss that it's just too dangerous to go skiing, let's go to the islands instead. Seriously, though, it's that time of the year again. Let's be careful out there.
