    Air Asia

Looks like there hiring Captains without previous command experience. Anybody over there? Wondering about what its like over there (quality of life, pay, bennies, etc.) I hear its a 3 year commitment and you can't commute. Much appreciated if anyone knows anything about this gig. Thanks!

Feds Taking their Sweet A$$ time

Wasn't the FAA going to come out with the new rest/reg rules by the end of January? I know there's another week to go but if it means recalculating staffing numbers which equates to recalls. Then we need that clock to start ticking yesterday!

    King Air 350 Type?

Anyone know who does the King Air 350 type rating here in the states? I've done online searches but all I come up with are courses for the 90 and 200 which I believe you don't even really need a type rating. The only place I've found is somewhere in the UK.

USAir Furloughes "Where are they now?"

Now that the "take it or leave it" calls are going out, I thought it be interesting to learn as to where all the furloughees are at. I've counted 1750 and roughly 300 or so have taken recalls so that puts the recall rate just over 17%. As most would suspect not many more will return and I wish...
