Looking for an old Politically Incorrect UAL poem

I think the stories about civilian females are more a testament about those that tell them than it is about civilian females.

Looking for an old Politically Incorrect UAL poem

Wow! It wasn't a female FO. It was an ex military, ex TWA male FO. And yes, depending on who you ask, the 747 came within 5 to 150 feet of Mt. San Bruno. That event was so egregious United retrained the whole seniority list on non standard engine out procedures. Hope this helps.

    You'll get what you deserve

This is aimed at the Flex pilots. You have a choice to make. Join the fraternity of all major pilots and continue to have a union on your side, or trust your and your family's future on the empty promises of a known serial liar. It's your call, but remember this, if you make the wrong choice...

    Flexjet side deal mediation attempt?

Speaking of KR, obviously he uses the carrot and stick style of managing. First he takes a carrot and jams it up your butt. Then he takes the stick and jams it up farther.

    Surf Air Compensation

Does anyone know what the pay/benefits and working conditions are at Surf Air? I'd like to know. Flightbag

    CJ2 crash @ Santa Monica

SMO isn't for everybody. Only the good pilots like to fly there. Weak ones generally don't. Flightbag

Flops Pilots going after their own

You're absolutely correct. It's called "the duty of fair representation". The union by law must represent all the members of the bargaining unit regardless of membership or fee payer status. It gets worse. Years ago, after a strike, a Southern Airways scab was fired for incompetence. He...

NJASAPs Lack of Representation Regarding Furloughed Pilots

Your in house union at NJ has no legal obligation to represent a pilot who does not work there. That's the law. Having said that, I feel just as strongly the union has a moral obligation to take the furloughees into consideration with any agreements they may enter into with management. Flightbag

AvantAir entire fleet grounded for mx Inspections?

I've seen it happen again and again the 121 world. Some new entrant buys up (or leases) old aircraft, and hires laid off employees with sup par wages and benefits. They stay in business for awhile, put downward pressure on the rest of the industry (read employees) then go out of business while...

    ASA/Brad H.

That's right. Throw Tanner under the bus. I know you're all thinking the worst about him. I'm not Hey! So an adult pilot and a few friends were sitting around at 0130 drinking milk and eating cookies when they decided to go flying. Something went wrong and they're was an accident with loss...

CP and VPFO quit at Spirit!!!!

The United pilots set the standard in 1985 with their strike. If you had a seniority number and worked during the strike you were a scab................period. Good on the Spirit pilots. Quite frankly, I've come to believe that the pilots of this country are a bunch of pussies unwilling to...

    Xo Jet ???

Thanks again for the info. Now I can give accurate answers. Sounds like XOJet is a decent place to work. Oh ya, except for that other little matter. F

    GPAC Is Dead and Illegitimate?

Thanks for the explanations. Now here comes the knuckle ball(s). As I understand it, pilots may transfer from NJA to NJI. What happens when something bad happens to a mixed crew with wherein one pilot is from NJA and one from NJI and they both get fired. Am I to understand that the union...

    GPAC Is Dead and Illegitimate?

So BeeDubya, I guess that for the purpose of this discussion, NJI and NJA are two separate groups. One (NJA) is represented by a union while the other (NJI) is not. Representation is one thing, membership rights are another. Even in an open shop the union is obligated to represent all members...

    Xo Jet ???

Is this just an XOJet pilot bashing thread, or there some actual XOJet pilots commenting? I'm curious. Is the info on APC accurate? Occasionally I get asked questions about them and I'd like to have the straight scoop. Thanks F

    GPAC Is Dead and Illegitimate?

You are mistaken. By law the union must represent all the members of a bargaining unit regardless of membership or dues paying status. The only question to be resolved is, are you a member of the bargaining unit? Hope this helps. F

FLOPS Pilots vs FLOPS Pilots. Is this still going on?

Southwest is 100% unionized. They seem to do just fine.
