Why hire military over your competition?

On PPrune, Qatar airways has been monitoring the board for negative posts and have subpoenaed PPrune for the actual names, IP addresses, email addresses, etc thru a liberal California court of those who made those postings. For a fairly large company to monitor what is said on a pilots rumor...- Varmint

Malaysian 777 enroute to Beijing missing!
I've never had to pull CB's to keep a plane pressurized. The aircraft was shot down somewhere over the South China Sea and the search area was moved south in the Indian Ocean to focus the attention elsewhere while a clean up is done up North. All that to avoid a massive international outcry... -

TSA employee misconduct up 26% in 3 years

But the "divert" and "divert overhead" functions of the FMS might if the crew had a fire in the E&E compartment and began the process of diverting the aircraft somewhere before they were incapacitated by smoke. Maybe they were heading for Penang. An EE fire may have knocked out the data link... -

Regional for a career
For once, I agree with General Lee. I don't think it's a good idea to plan to stay at a regional. You may think you have it good when you are there....but...you will only realize how bad it was in the pay, scheduling, and treatment realms once you leave for more well managed establishments... -
