ASA: "Call sign only" in ATL?

Folks, is it really that hard to understand that when a controller tells you "call sign only", he just might mean "call sign only"? I realize that the reduction of Freedom flying in Atlanta requires an extra effort from us all to fill the "bonehead moment" quota, but when ASA makes up 7 out...

    ASA DX contract?

So what is the situation with ASA dispatch and a new contract? I guess I should be up on the status but I try to leave the airport stuff at the airport so I'm not sure. (Ahh, who am I kidding, I read and post on FI so that theory sure doesn't hold any water!) Anyway, I ask because recently...

    ASA/Leonard

Maybe it's just me, but for some reason watching this clip reminds me of Leonard. "Leonard! I thought you were trying to steal my revisions, that's all!" "H*ll, if it wasn't for guys like me, you kids would be flying around with outdated Jepps!"

Are CASS records accessible to the company?

Are companies able to see a record if you were to use CASS on another airline? Trying to settle an argument.

    ASA 200/25? Nice!

"Announcing a hiring agreement between Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Aviation Atlanta Inc. for students that complete the instructor training and work as an instructor for an agreed upon period of time. July 27, 2007 Aviation Atlanta Inc. and Atlantic Southeast Airlines, a Delta Connection...

    Another ASA thread. SorryDooshman!

So can someone give an overview of the progression of the (short) upgrade class/training at ASA? How long is the classroom portion? How many sims? What order do you go in? class/oral/sim? Grassyass!

    CASS and Int'l Jumpseating?

Is JSing internationally any different/easier now that some of us have CASS? How does it work? I'll be trying to get to Cozumel and since Delta has limited service there hitching a ride with someone else would make things a lot easier for me. Sorry for the newbie question but all the...

    Duane Woerth @CVG

Saw the big cheese walking the line with Comair pilots today at CVG. Just goes to show that whoever says ALPA National doesn't care about us Regional peons is just plain wrong!!!!! :p

    ASA Pay Credit submission?

Is there any way to do a Pay Credit submission without going to the airport? I don't work until Monday, have about 13 hours of ROE to claim, and I really don't want to go to the airport if I can help it. The MyASA link on CrewTrac isn't working.

    ASA ATR question.

Just curious but are the ATRs weight/load limited to PFN? I'm looking to get down to the Panhandle area with the GF and I'm trying to figure out the best way to go. Sorry for the seemingly stupid question but I've only flown the 50 and therefore am not cool enough to frequent the Bada-Bing...

Just curious what you guys think of SkyWest stock in our 401k. Are you going to buy it?

    ASA on SkyWest/UAL Jumpseat?

Now that we're one big happy family can an ASA pilot ride the jumpseat on the United side? I'll most likely be attempting DEN-COS Saturday and it looks like SkyWest does the majority of that route. I'd imagine a CRJ would be weight limited on that leg so it might not matter but I'm curious.

    KeyFlite Nashua

Is KeyFlite Academy at ASH still around? I did some training there back in 1998-1999 and I'm just curious. Couldn't find anything on the internet and their old website goes nowhere.

    France

I'm going to be heading over to France in August and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get over. I'd been planning on just buying a ticket, but if I could non-rev the dent in my bank account would be much less severe. I can most likely get to wherever I need to catch a flight, so if I...

    TSA jumpseat

Just wondering about how many jumpseaters TSA can take on the United side. I did a quick search and saw mention of two jumpseaters but the info was about a year old. I have to decide between TSA and Independence for tomorrow morning because there's not enough time to get to the Indy flight if...
