    Crew Luggage

Add me to the list of the Pudy Neat Stuff Fan Club. Pay the money now and you'll be happy. And pay a little extra for the duffel that snaps to it. It's great for longer trips and wet raincoats. I think the website Nigel offered gives a new hire discount if you ask. I am a previous samsonite...

    Bose headset

I have heard Lightspeeds are nice but last time I checked they were NOT TSO'd for the CL-65 and DC is. Bottom line, buy what you feel comfortable with. My DC's feel just fine to me. Of course I spent 22 yrs with a helicopter helmet on!

    Bose headset

Seems I am not alone. Boy was I excited to see that shiny new Bose Headset under the Christmas tree last year. Sadly, I took them on my first trip and was deeply disappointed in their performance. The ANR is no where close to the David Clarks I was using before. It tough to tell the guys in the...

    Check my luggage, Please.

How many of you are being screened at the gate while nonrevving? They have hit me two times in a row and I possess a sida badge for that airport!!! Taking shoes off and opening belt buckles, etc. Did we not all just submit to mandatory fingerprints? And the military has my dna. We have all...

Future furlough numbers at Delta ???

SpongeBob, I'm thinking your post is flame bait. If you were a furloughee, you would know the vars number and would have the answer to your question. Besides, real DAL pilots know the would not engage in such banter about the DCI folks. Have a nice day.

    Recommended Headset for CRJ

I agree with the previous post. The RJ is not entirely quiet up front. I had a traditional pair of David Clarks converted to ANR by anr-headsets.com for about $160 and it is outstanding. After a while, I decided to try the Bose X's to see if I should make the switch. Yes, the Bose is more...

    Where are COMAIR's domiciles???

Try Comair.com Currently, the lions share of the flying is out of CVG domicile but also have small base in Orlando with another domicile to be named soon, or so I have heard.

    The Comair strike, another perspective..

Too bad your Dad wasn't one of the guys throwing bags on the ramp. I rode the jumpseat with a sr DAL captain who was and he had a totally different perspective about things. He told me, in no uncertain terms, that they eat their own. Regarding the poor captain "scrimping for retirement in the...

    The Comair strike, another perspective..

1900 Laker, Sorry, I didn't mean it literally. And just to clarify, I do, indeed, have pity for those on furlough. Lack of income is no laughing matter. Thanks for bringing that out for me. Happy Holidays to all.

    The Comair strike, another perspective..

In my opinion, SDD has many valid points. I have read his posts for months and they are usually pretty darn accurate (IMHO). Seems he may have had a bad weekend or perhaps some of us are getting a bit thin-skinned. I do agree that it seemed rather lonely out on the picket line. I walked...

    Requirements to fly Army Helo's

Funny that 121 and 135 pilots are exploring the Military now. I just did a trip with a guy (RJ Captain) who is trying to get in. In my opinion, this shows intelligence. You guys (certainly, you helo bubbas) must admit that this airline stuff is a tad on the boring side. I would like to...
