Latest bid has openings for new hires in DTW for both the 200 and 900. -

Latest is going down to 16 -200 lines of flying and then back up to 20-24 once the training pipeline gets going and the SSP commitment gets caught up. Subject to change of course. The current plan IS to keep -200's now, which is a positive change, but I doubt anything will be publicly stated... -

It was a failure for a few reasons. Starting jan 1 it's back to a normal hiring process. The EtD interview process was essentially a DL interview. It's inhibited when flaps are out of 0. I can't find in the book anywhere else, but I'm pretty sure you can still get the ACARS MESSAGE status when outside the final takeoff mode (rotation) and under 500 ft. Meaning at 600 ft agl on departure you will get the status, but no "selcal" oral with... -

1. You are a couple weeks behind. 2. The "family" excuse was OMG legit(he went direct to an ICU). 3. In either case, we can't fill classes of 30 (planned). "Fly what you can staff" is replacing "simply the best, bust less than average".- higney85

Any info if Compass Airlines will be hiring
I count 12 resignations from 9E to CPZ in the last 3 days. I'll go out on a limb and say that compass appears to be hiring. -

Explain that to DL network planning. They run the show. If lift is needed (like it is now), they will have to "somehow" hire. Once the new -900's and 717's show up, the -200's can park. -

I'm far from jealous. More curious, as others with your same (and better) quals have not had a call. I have not and will not apply to VX as already said multiple times before, so don't flatter yourself. -
