    Learning to fly the AT-6

    Is there a "best book" for learning about the AT-6/SNJ? I'm talking about how to fly it, and about all the limitations/systems/etc... I figure the old Dash-1 might be the best, but was wondering if someone published some sort of modern reference, especially for flying it in the pattern.

    Military pilots in fire fighting

    It seems that it is very difficult for military pilots to break into this type of flying. Any of you have any good insight as to why this is? The percentages are so low that I'm wondering if there's a negative perception out there.

    UHF/VHF transceiver needed
