Southwest will not hire flight options or flex jet pilots

Just to clarify something, the DAC pilot that was terminated from SWA was terminated for a reason other than his union participation, or lack thereof.

If the SLI changes, we will have to see who benefits and who gets hurt. That will expose what is really going on.

    OK, I thank the Union.

In response to the PM. Current pay on the 8/7 fixed schedule is $113500 before any bonus or per diem. There are approximately 60 pilots that will get a raise before he does. His hire date is 11/2001.

At Flex, there is about 60 Phenom 300 CAs. The junior CA is a 2001 hire. They are promising 5% of the senior Phenom pilots will be getting a raise up to CL-300 pay of 130,000 per quarter. This is for an 8/7 fixed schedule. So, instead of just the senior pilots getting a raise, lets figure...

So I'm the least credible person on this forum? Either you have a serious problem with denial or have a distorted sense of humor but I had to laugh anyway. My payroll shows hire in XX/XX/2018 and they did waive my 30 day waiting period for my benefits. As far as me showing you the seniority...

I got an email last week stating that I was being transferred to Flexjet and would be given a new DOH. So much for the 19 years at Options.

Yeah, but wait. That $118 only kicks in after 12.1 hours/tour at NJ. So, if I flew 500 hours over 24( 26-2 weeks vaca) average per 8 day tour that means an extra 33k/year? Is that right??

    Pay farce, smarsh HAHAHAHAH

A 14 year FO at NJ on the 7/7 makes more than a 15 year CL300 CA at Flex on the 7/7? An 18 year CA at Flex in the Phenom 300 makes 113,500 on the 8/7 so even that is less pay while working 12 days more per year.

When JC was asked for the names or the seniority numbers of the pilots that would be getting a raise and when, he replied he didn't know. He replied in his email that the actual numbers have to wait until the SLI is completed.

YES! I heard a 20 year Captain at Flex will finally make more than a 10 year FO at NetJets.

Didn't Phildo claim we were getting an instant raise and that Uncle Kenn had 12 million to divide between the pilots?

We lost 8 pilots this month already. If he wants to jet-set around the world, good for him. I prefer to spend more time with my friends and family but to each- his own. We will continue to lose pilots until the compensation issues are fixed. We voted out the Union, so there is no longer an...

Hammer of "the law". Back to the problems of 10 years ago at Options. One of the reasons the Union was voted in was unequal application of "the law". Now, without the Union, the individual has to defend on their own as opposed to a group. So, if people can get picked off at any time, why...

Great! Now the company has the chance to fix everything. As far as a vote on an SLI, its the illusion of participating but the result will be the same. When can the Phenom FO's upgrade and when can the Phenom CA's move up and make some money?

We have FO's hired in 2001 still in the right seat of the Phenom.
