    "What's next now for AA/US possible merger'

    Quick question for the US Air folks from a future AA'r. If there is a merger with AA, do you anticipate all the quarrels to continue except in three ways? There has to be a way to find common ground? Maybe have APA represent?

    Your facts are way off. I was hired in 99 with Eagle and our pilot numbers were 2700. Guess what they are now? 2700 and with pilots on furlough. And yes I was one of the pilots that upgraded after 5 years only to get displaced back to the right seat so AA pilots and newly acquired TWA pilots...

    Bus tickets costing more then plane tickets I would hope is not the norm. But it wouldn't surprise me with current airline managers. By the way, I don't think I have to worry about a furlough although I may get a 50% paycut. More reason to not take any crap from trailer trash passengers.

    That is generally how I deal with these types of passengers but I am seeing a disturbing trend. Perhaps with the ticket prices going up "bus people" will go back to the buses.
