For 2014, if you mean all "majors" to include JB, Spirit, Virgin, Frontier plus freight/charter and a couple of foreign carriers, Expressjet lost 359. This was 47% of all 2014 losses.

If by "major" you mean DL, UA, AA, AK, SW only...220.

"Legacy" is what you just listed above, not "majors."
With all that time you say you have, one would think you should know the difference by now. :D
 
I was merely trying to reply in reference to the term the OP used, which was "major". I had the data broken down several ways and wanted to try actually offering him a little helpful info without making him play 20 questions to find out what he wanted to know.
