Anyone know of a list of retirements by year at different airlines

Yeah 65 so we will just add 5

And can anyone answer without being a tool.

Lets find out.

This is a a couple of years old:

American Airlines Retirements:
2005-219
2006-313
2007-351
2008-457
2009-459
2010-397
2011-340
2012-329
2013-405
2014-405
2015-584
2016-643
2017-691
2018-739
2019-735
2020-750
2021-724
2022-623
2023-509
2024-486
2025-417

I don't think that it will be as bad as "just add 5." For example, guys will still be forced to retire for medical reasons, and the likelihood of someone having to retire medically in any given year will increase as one gets older. Further, I bet many guys will consider retiring when they hit the minimum social security retirement age of 62. That 2 year delay will help them with their monthly PBGC benefit as well if they have one coming to them. And of course, there will be some guys who just won't work that long, period.

I'm not trying to paint a rosy picture for hiring when this age 65 deal kicks in because the hiring situation will worsen I'm sure. And I also assume that any hope of a "pilot shortage" and wages coming up in response to that smaller supply will probably be dashed for a few years. But I bet age 65 slows hiring down for closer to 2-3 years vs. 5 years.

Don't forget the medical retirements. I have heard as high as for every three retirements that make it to 60 1 person does not make it for medical reasons. That number would go up if people were trying to make it to 65.

I didn't. Read sentence 2! It will be interesting to see how many guys leave for medical reasons and what sick leave usage will look like for guys over 60.

I have been searching and searching on Google. The above is the first I've seen.

Anything on Airtran, Delta, Continental etc.

AirTran is a very very young pilot group, don't expect to move up alot due to retirements. I have been here almost 4 years, in my late 30's and will retire around 250, that's pretty bad considering there's just over 1500 folks on property now. That's at age 60, actually 65 will be the same.
